Record buttons
- Disable proxying / Enable proxying – only for A, AAAA, and CNAME. New records of these types are created behind the Cloudflare proxy.
- Delete – remove the record.
A value cannot be edited: delete the record and create it again. TTL is set automatically.
Proxying
- On – website traffic goes through Cloudflare, the server IP is hidden.
- DNS only – DNS returns the real address. Needed for email, ownership checks, and non-HTTP services.
MX, TXT, and SRV are always DNS only. More about the modes: Cloudflare docs.
With third-party NS, records are changed at the current DNS provider. The DNS section in the bot offers to move the domain back to Cloudflare.
The list in the bot shows records created through Lumi. Records added directly in the Cloudflare dashboard may not appear there.
