Managing a domain
Domain card, renewal, transfer, deletion, and the bulk editor
Domain card
My domains → domain.
- Expires – the registration end date.
- Blocks – the registrar status: "none" or "present". If present, write to @lumisup_robot with the domain name. Changing DNS does not lift a block.
- Cloudflare credentials – the email, password, and 2FA of the Cloudflare account. Shown while the domain uses Cloudflare NS.
- Cloudflare settings – SSL, protection, rules, redirects, cache, hosting: Cloudflare settings.
- Change NS – move the domain to other NS: Connect.
- DNS settings – the domain records: DNS records.
- Transfer – hand the domain over to another Lumi user.
- Delete – remove the domain from the bot.
Renewal
- Reminders – 30 and 7 days before the end of the term and within the first day after it. Each has a Renew button.
- Renew – the bot shows the price for a year and charges the balance after Renew for one year.
- Several domains – Bulk editor → Renew.
- Failed – the money goes back to the balance. If the registrar's answer is unclear, the bot checks the new term itself, without charging again.
- No auto-renew – renew from the reminder.
Do not wait until the last day. After the term ends the domain may stop working, and recovery depends on the zone rules and is not guaranteed.
Transfer
- Transfer – send the recipient's numeric Telegram ID. People see their ID in Account. The recipient must have started the bot at least once.
- Accept / Decline – buttons on the recipient's side. The request is valid for 24 hours.
- After the transfer – the previous owner may still have access to Cloudflare. The new owner should change the NS or move DNS to their own account.
Deletion
Delete → Yes, delete. The domain disappears from the bot and the Cloudflare account is disabled. The registration is not cancelled: the domain lives until the end of the paid term. No refund, and the domain cannot be restored with a button.
Bulk editor
Shown in My domains when you have two or more domains. Select domains, then an action:
- NS or IP – connect them to a server IP or to your own NS.
- Back to Cloudflare NS – move the domains back to Cloudflare.
- SSL mode, DDoS protection, Security rules, Redirects, DNS records, Purge cache, Hosting – the same as on the card, for all selected domains at once.
- Apply template – a ready set of settings from Account → Templates.
- Renew, Transfer, Delete – for all selected domains.
- Export data – a file with NS, terms, and Cloudflare access. The message with the file deletes itself, save it right away.
