Domain transfer

How to hand a domain over to another Lumi user

Domains are transferred in @lumibp_bot: My domains → domain → Transfer.

  • Recipient's Telegram ID – numeric, not an @username. People see their ID in the bot's Account.
  • Recipient – must have started the bot at least once.
  • Accept / Decline – buttons on the recipient's side. The domain does not leave without their consent.
  • 24 hours – the request is valid for this long. Not accepted – the transfer is cancelled and the domain stays with you.
  • What moves – the domain together with its DNS and Cloudflare settings.
  • Several domains – Bulk editor → Transfer.

After the transfer the previous owner may still have access to the Cloudflare account. The recipient should change the NS or move DNS to their own account.
